Wat Bhuddhaisawan temple constructed in 1350
The main prang (Reliquary towers) was built in 1352

-Located on the west of the Chao Phraya River, Tambol Sam Lom, Muang, Ayutthaya.
-Believed to be the first temple built in the Khmer (Cambodia?, Angkor?) style in Ayutthaya.
-The temple was not destroyed when the Burmese attacked the city.
- Heavily plundered in 1767

Highlight about the prang
-The main is the central white-painted prang
-Inside the prang, there are 2 interesting buddha footprints
-Reclining buddha images at the back
-Galleries of buddha images on all side of the area 
-Mural painted on a wall showing Thai monks on a journey to Sri Lanka in 1753 and 1755

  1. There were Khmer inspired design architectures in Ayutthaya, due to its openness to embrace cultures from neighbouring countries. You could look at how designs, cultures or even monuments inspired Ayutthaya, and draw out some concepts. :)
